FRP means Factory Reset Protection, FRP is the latest security feature on Android phones. When you factory reset, your phone asks for a google account that was previously synced on your phone. No other person can use your phone easily after resetting it unless he remembers your google account.

Within this post, we will learn how to erase the factory reset protection of the Honor 9N/9i smartphone that has a HiSilicon Kirin 659, Android 8.0. For this purpose, we will use the free version of MRT Key. With the help of the computer, we will erase the FRP through a mobile test point.

• MRT Key + Keygen

How to erase FRP - Full Guide

1. Download and install USB COM 1.0 and Android Drivers.
2. Download and extract MRT Key Tool and run it, then click HW Flasher.
   
   
   
3. Turn OFF the phone, Open the back cover of the phone and short the TEST Point to the ground then insert USB data, You will see USB COM 1.0 in Computer Management.
   
   
   
4. Within the MRT HW Flash Tool go to the USB COM 1.0 tab and select CPU Type hisi_659 then click the START button.
   
   
   
5. HW Flash tool will write Boot1, Boot3 and the phone will automatically reboot in bootloader mode don't disconnect the phone.
6. Now go to Unlock tab and select Erase FRP then click the START button.
